A panel discussion on the threats children face online heard from Interpol, the Internet Watch Foundation, Meta, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and the US Department of Justice. Each outlined the extent and growth of online threats to children and what steps need to be taken to protect them.

Collaboration is key.

The imperative for any specialized unit working in this area has shifted from a local to a global perimeter.

The goal is an ecosystem where reporting is accompanied by prevention and deep enduring commitment to enable the identification of offenders.

The immense value of the WeProtect Global Alliance is its vital role in convening all of the stakeholders with the power to act and raising awareness of this silent creeping plague. It also knows the answer to ‘who do the victims and he vulnerable turn to?’It’s a simple answer…‘Us’.
